I always try to keep an open mind, and my comic workflow is no exception. I recently had a chance to evaluate the "Story" tools in Clip Studio Paint Ex, and found several things that could potentially help with organization, consolidation, and proofing. I tested the B5 manga setting with default cropmarks against my most recent template revision, its just a little wider, but the active area was shorter.
The main reason i design my own template is to have one image that has enough bleed for ANY format (western, manga, & tradebook mainly), and does not sacrifice crucial items (text etc).
Ive just redesigned my templates again and did a few formatting tests, aside from the blue "no text" being a rule you can bend a bit, i think this template is pretty much perfect for those main printing format requisites. It also doesnt get any easier to read than this. ive removed the formal cropmarks since your formatter will most likely include some in the program anyway.
